Prices, Payments & Cancellation Policies
Bicycle Rental
Costs:
– City-bikes (size 18″, 20″, 24″, 26″, 28″) : € 4,00/hour up to € 16,00/day (for groups from 15 on the minimum rental is 3 hours)
– City-bikes (with back -max 20 kg- or forth childseat -max 12 kg- ) : € 5,00/hour up to € 20,00/day
– City-bike with trailer (26″) -trailer is not not usable on the archeological route of the Appian Way : € 7,00/h up to € 28,00
– Mountain Bike (27,5″, 29″) : € 5,00/h up tp € 20,00/day
– E-Bikes (24″, 26″, 28″) (electric assisted bikes): € 8,00/h up to € 32,00/day
– E-Mtb ( 27,5″) with trailer -trailer is not not usable on the archeological route of the Appian Way-: € 10,00/h up to € 40,00/day
– E-Mtb (24″, 27,5″ with or without back childseat): € 10,00/h up to € 40,00/day
Please note: we highly recommend MTB or e-mtb to be reserved at least from March to October and during holidays- paying online on our webiste at least the day before. Otherwise, bikes can be rented according to the availbaility of the moment. Prices includes helmets, locks, maps and all tips you need. Days not recommended: Monday (day off of most of the sites catacombs excluded ) and Wednesday (1.5 km open to traffic).
Bicycle rental for groups
- For groups over 15 units full day city-bike rental € 13,00/person, every day except Sunday
- One free bike for every 20 people
- In case of minors, a list of participants is required together whith one of the accompanying adults presenting himself before departure
Guided Tours on Foot, Bicycle & Golf Cart
Guided tours are available in Italian, English, Spanish, German, and French for individuals and groups.
Tours on foot
Please note that for all (schools, agencies, individuals or other) the cost includes:
– guide in language,
– free participation for disabled people and their carers,
– free admission per teacher/companion, but only for groups of at least 15 participants.
The cost doesn’t include: the radio headset (whisper) € 2,00/ppl mandatory for groups over 15 participants.
Tours by bike
Please note that for all (schools, agencies, individuals or other) the cost includes:
– guide in language,
– bicycle rental for the duration of the service,
– helmets and safety chains,
– second operator in technical support/group closure (for groups over 15 participants),
– free tour leader/tour leader (for groups over 15 participants).
The cost doesn’t include: the radio headset (whisper) € 2,00/ppl mandatory for groups over 15 participants.
In the case of minors, a list of participants is always required to be submitted at the time of departure.

Booking Methods for Schools and Agencies
The reservation must be formalized by email (infopointappia@gmail.com) with a confirmation from the Agency/ School indicating:
– the chosen route,
– the date and time of departure,
– the number of participants (age and sex),
– telephon number of a person/accompanying participant.
NB. It is advisable to book in time the desired activity especially in high season!
NB. For any entry in the sites with free access for children under 18 years, a list of participants is required to be delivered to each ticket office.
Payment Methods
Payment must be made at least 7 days before the activity by bank transfer of the entire amount payable to: EcoBike S.r.l. – IBAN: IT44A0306903281100000005690 / BIC/SWIFT: BCITITMM / Bank: INTESA SAN PAOLO SPA
For Entities or Institutes that require electronic invoicing will be issued an invoice before the performance of the activity with payment at 30 days. Please send at the same time the unique code of the Institute, the CIG or n. determines of entrustment.
Cancellation Policy
If you have to cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined in accordance with the policy outlined below. We reserve the right to cancel tours just in case of bad weather. Except the one, Reasons for cancellations of tours or charters can vary from bad weather Apart from cancellations due to rain, no exceptions may be made to the policy. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a tour early.
